A decision tool for pet parents who want to understand what’s in the bowl. We’re building it to help you explore food and treat labels, understand what the available information supports, and recognize what still needs checking.

Why I’m building it

I want to know what’s in the products I bring home, how they’re made, and whether they’re a good choice for my pets. Those questions reach beyond food and treats to supplements, litter, plants, and household products.

I’m building The Label Decoders and Healthy Home Decoder to make that information easier to understand, so pet parents can look at the bigger picture and decide what makes sense for their own pets.

Built for dogs and cats

Bubba and Pearl are the hounds in the name. Theo and Max make sure the cat side of the family is never forgotten. The app is being developed with both dog and cat households in mind.

Where things stand

I’m developing The Label Decoders for an initial United States release. I’m using it in real life, fixing what doesn’t work, and making the information easier to understand. I’ll share updates here as testing continues.
